The first argument of s6-update-symlinks is the full path to a
directory, but something like /somewhere/ will not work. Maybe you could
add to
http://www.skarnet.org/software/s6-portable-utils/s6-update-symlinks.html
that a trailing slash is not acceptable?
Also, in the 3rd item of "Interface", s/links/paths/g
